Farmer Dash Fun Run

Grandma's Pumpkin Patch has brought back the Farmer Dash race!

 

This race is a 2 mile fun race, that is NOT TIMMED. This event is a 2 mile course that you can run or walk. This event is family friendly, and novice friendly. 

 

The course trail will start in the Kidland Play Yard, wind down the hay ride trail, go past the grazing pastures of the cattle, into the woods, and back. This course is uneven paths and will not accomodate a stroller.

Each participant will receive a coupon for a donut and cider, and if you register by October 1st you will receive a finisher medal and t-shirt.

Proceeds from this race go to support the care of the animals at Grandma's Pumpkin Patch and we will be collecting donations for the Midland County Food Assistance Network. Bring non perishable food items to donate. Click here to learn more about the Midland County Food Assistance Network.

Suggested items to donate at the race:

  • Breakfast items: assorted hot & cold cereals, biscuit and pancake mix, syrup

  • Beverages: powdered milk, juices, drink mixes (iced tea, fruit punch, etc.), hot chocolate, coffee, tea

  • Proteins: beef stew, peanut butter, tuna

  • Starches: macaroni & cheese, spaghetti, noodles, pizza mix, pasta, rice & potato mixes, “hamburger helper”

  • Canned goods: canned fruits & vegetables, tomato & spaghetti sauce, canned meals, soups

  • Accompaniments: catsup, mustard, salad dressings, jam or jelly, crackers, salt, pepper

  • Desserts: gelatin mixes, pudding mixes, cake & brownie mixes, cookies

  • Personal care: bar soap, deodorant, shampoo & conditioner, shaving supplies, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes

  • Housekeeping: dish detergent, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, paper towels

  • Special Diets: low salt and low sugar items, sugar free items, gluten free items, etc.

Grandma’s Pumpkin Patch is excited to bring back the Farmer Dash run/walk. We will be hosting a 2 mile non-timed fun run on October 18th. This event will attract local families and individuals that are outdoor enthusiasts.
